The Welcome Center at Coborn Plaza. Meeting and event space that is centrally located in Minnesota 1 1/2 blocks South of Division Street; 4 blocks North of SCSU Campus. Regional Meetings - Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Meetings - Conferences - Presentations - Receptions - Trainings - Workshops - Press Conferences - Service Club Meetings - Social Groups - and Community Organizations can all be held at the Welcome Center.

Their Welcome Center staff will assist you in planning and executing a successful event with personalized customer-focused approach.

They offer flexible and easily accessible meeting space to accomodate up to 50 people in Classroom set-up or 100 in Theatre seating. Meeting room rentals include: Built-in LCD projector/screen, computer, document camera, and free Wi-Fi. Select rooms also have DVD/VCR/CD capabilities.

Additional items available upon request: lapel microphone, easels, flip charts, portable whiteboard, laser pointer, podium, laptop, and extension cords.

Their lobby can offer a unique setting for your next reception or dining experience. Unlimited caterers are available for you to select from. On-site parking is available at an additional cost. SCSU policy prohibits alcohol on premises.

Rent a meeting room for up to 4 hours any weekday between the hours of 7:30am & 5pm. Must call ahead for available dates. On-site parking available at an additional cost. Can accommodate up to 100 people based on room setup.
